Origin & variety: The clementine is a cross between the mandarin (Citrus reticulata) and the orange, named after Frère Clément, in whose monastery garden it was discovered around 1900.
Taste: Mild and honey-sweet, with barely noticeable acidity – and wonderfully easy to peel. The perfect healthy snack for on the go and for children’s hands.
