The queen of Sicilian oranges – with a delicate blush of red.
Origin & variety: The Tarocco is a natural mutation of the sweet orange (Citrus sinensis) and Sicily’s most famous semi-blood orange. The cool Sicilian winters conjure the reddish colour into the flesh. How red it turns can vary depending on the cold.
Taste: Intensely fruity with fine berry notes of raspberry and strawberry, wonderfully juicy, a harmonious sweetness with elegant acidity. Particularly rich in vitamin C.
