Shipping
How the fruit gets from Jessica and Emilio to your home.
Delivery area
We deliver throughout Switzerland. Deliveries abroad are not possible at the moment.
Shipping is by post or delivery van.
How an order works
- Order window: You order in the shop while the order window is open. The next delivery is in November.
- Order deadline: After the order deadline, we pass all orders on together to Jessica and Emilio in Sicily. Only then is the fruit harvested – exactly the amount that was ordered.
- Harvest and packing: The fruit is freshly picked, packed in 9 kg cardboard boxes and transported to Switzerland.
- Shipping: From within Switzerland, your box travels by post or delivery van to the delivery address you gave. We’ll let you know the shipping date by e-mail.
Delivery time
The first delivery is expected in mid-November, after that we deliver roughly every two weeks until the season ends in April. Because we ship natural produce, the exact date depends on the weather and the harvest. We will let you know by e-mail as soon as your box is on its way.

Shipping costs
Shipping costs depend on the number of boxes per order:
- 1 box: CHF 12.–
- 2 boxes: CHF 21.–
- 3 to 4 boxes: CHF 32.–
- 5 boxes or more: free shipping
The shipping costs are shown in the cart before you complete your order.
Packaging and storage
The fruit is untreated, with no chemicals – it is not waxed and not treated. Take the fruit out of the box and store it somewhere cool, dry and airy, ideally in a polystyrene box or a crate, and cover it with a woollen blanket on your balcony or in the cellar. Check the fruit regularly so you can quickly remove any that has gone bad. That way it stays fresh for two to three weeks.
Not at home?
If you’re not in when the box is delivered, Swiss Post will leave a collection notice. Please collect the box as quickly as possible – it’s fresh produce.
Damaged delivery
If your box arrives damaged or any fruit has spoiled, please get in touch within 48 hours of receipt, with photos, at ciao@amici-agrumi.ch. We’ll find a solution – see also Returns & refunds.
