Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed through the online shop of Amici Agrumi (Amici Agrumi, Cinzia Reinhard, Switzerland), hereinafter “we”. By placing your order, you accept these GTC.

2. Offer and pre-order

We sell citrus fruit from the farm of Jessica and Emilio in Campobello di Mazara, Sicily, by pre-order. Orders are collected during an order window. After the order deadline, we pass the total quantity on to the producers; the fruit is then harvested and shipped. Information on the season, time of harvest and delivery dates are guide values. As natural products, our fruit depends on the weather and the harvest.

3. Conclusion of contract

By submitting the order in the shop, you make a binding offer. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order by e-mail. We may decline orders, for example in the event of crop failure, for delivery addresses outside Switzerland or where payments from earlier orders are outstanding.

4. Prices

All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). Amici Agrumi is not subject to value added tax; the prices do not include VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately during the ordering process. The price at the time of the order applies.

5. Payment

You can pay by invoice or using the payment methods offered at checkout. Invoices are payable within 10 days of the invoice date. In the event of late payment, we reserve the right to charge reminder fees and to withhold further deliveries.

6. Gift vouchers

Vouchers arrive by e-mail and can be redeemed for all products and for delivery in the shop. Any remaining balance stays on the code and can be used later. Vouchers are valid for ten years from the date of issue. They cannot be paid out in cash. Treat the code like cash: whoever has it can redeem it.

7. Delivery

We deliver exclusively within Switzerland. Delivery is made to the address you have provided as soon as the fruit has been harvested and has arrived in Switzerland. We will inform you of the shipping date by e-mail. Risk passes to you upon handover to you or to a person designated by you. Please check the fruit on the day of delivery.

8. Natural products and box contents

Each box contains around 9 kg of one variety. Deviations in weight as well as differences in the size, shape, colour and peel of the fruit are natural and do not constitute a defect. The fruit is untreated, without chemical treatment.

9. Defects, returns and cancellation

Fresh fruit is excluded from the right of return. You must report damaged or spoiled goods to us within 48 hours of receipt, with photos, at ciao@amici-agrumi.ch; we will provide a replacement or refund the affected portion. You can cancel your order free of charge up to the order deadline; after that, this is no longer possible. Details can be found under Returns & refunds.

10. Liability

We are liable only for damage that we have caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence and for consequential damage is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory provisions remain reserved.

11. Data protection

How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy. We keep our own visitor statistics, without advertising tools and without passing data on to third parties. You can switch them off at any time: via the link “Switch off visitor statistics” at the bottom of every page or in the privacy policy, section 5.

12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of Amici Agrumi. Mandatory places of jurisdiction for consumers remain reserved.

13. Amendments

We may amend these GTC at any time. Your order is governed by the version that was published on the website at the time of the order.
